Some back-story:

After nearly 15 years of various Entertainment industry involvement (from major record labels and management companies to national cable TV stations and “big house” recording studios), in 2003, I returned home to Toronto with my  multi-instrumentalist/ songwriter/ Producer chops honed from a stint in New York. My goal was to bring that combined experience forward to create the perfect space for independent artists to channel their thoughts, ideas and creativity, without the pretense and inflated rates most recording studios had become famous for.

The result was ‘The Sonic Spa’  – a modern facility with an old school vibe; a ‘word of mouth’ destination for anyone with a song and the desire to share it. Sky Mixing was a new addition to the ‘Spa back in 2012, and expands on that initial vision: now I have the opportunity of working with independent artists worldwide!  How cool is that??

It’s 2024, and that ‘grassroots’ approach is more relevant than ever…
